It might interest you to know that not all Catholics think the same way. I for one am one Catholic who puts the Bible ahead of any dogma or doctrine that comes out of the Vatican. Church rules, rituals, liturgy, dogmas, and doctrines are always subject to change. Not the Bible. BTW-—there are many Catholics who think the same way I do. I see them every week at Mass. We are not all marching mindlessly in lockstep with every whim that comes from the Vatican.
This is one of the most interesting posts I have come across from a Catholic. You are, of course, aware that nearly everything you have just said is contrary to Rome's demands? It has been clear from their get-go (300AD) that they hold the "keys to the kingdom" and only their versions of doctrines are correct. You are dangerously (or shall I say "safely" close) to being a reformer. Keep reading, my FRiend, because that Bible will lead you to the truth...God willing (that is in the Bible to which you refer).
Whose fault is THAT??
Rome REQUIRES catechism classes before ALLOWING them in.
Perhaps a yearly religious ISTEP test is in order for them.
