The vote in 2014 was not on whether the Marx-Kasper proposals doctrine would be accepted, but whether they would be debated. This includes being soundly and publicly refuted. The purpose of the 2014 Synod was only to approve the agenda for 2015, not to vote doctrine up or down!!

It's true that even the Poles and the Africans are not a total united front, but frankly, I think Kasper is in a funk sweat.

A majority voted in favor of debating heretical proposals. No debate is necessary if the objective is to simply maintain the status quo.

frankly, I think Kasper is in a funk sweat.

Why should he be? He enjoys the support of the Pope.
