Yah, right...Because of that false claim that Mary is God’s mother

God’s purpose was to take on the form of a human to learn and understand the temptations we go thru and to overcome those temptations...To draw people to him and become the Jewish Messiah...

Mary had nothing to do with the ‘divine’ arriving in her body...It was placed there by God...It was placed there by God and put into a human fetus/Jesus...

Just as with us, the physical body of Jesus was just a shell for Jesus to live in...

I know it’s been a while since you posted this, but we have had family from out of town visiting us, so I am just now responding.

Set aside for the moment what the Catholic Church says about Mary and let’s look at what the Holy Spirit reveals in Sacred Scripture. In Matthew 2:1-15, which tells about the wise men who were looking for the King of the Jews, it is written: “when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him”.

The first thing to note is that it says the wise men worshipped him, not Mary, not him and Mary, just Him. So to say that Mary is his mother is not to say she is to be worshipped. But in calling Mary the mother of this young child who is being worshipped, isn’t the Holy Spirit telling us that Mary is the mother of God in human form, the Jewish Messiah?

If not, why?

No...Not at all...In fact the Holy Spirit was very careful to avoid calling Mary the mother of God in the scriptures...

We know nothing about the mother of Jesus other than what the Holy Spirit revealed in the scriptures...Mary was not and is not to be the focus of our attention...There is nothing in the scriptures that allow for apparitions of Mary, praying to Mary, creating statues of Mary or any thing remotely connected to Mary...And has been shown countless times, scripture teaches against these things...

God tells us in Isaiah that he will not share his glory with anyone...That of course includes Mary...

It is ridiculous to even consider God having a mother...That's crazy...
