Telling the truth is not demotion. God is still God. Since you have chosen to limit your knowledge of God, how do you claim to know the entirety of the family structure in heaven? It's like claiming to know everything about a lake because you have a glass of water.

So God, who cannot lie, says He knows of no other God beside Him, but it's a lie. You claim that I limit my knowledge of God by not realizing that He is lying to me in the bible. So ya really want to go with that?

So God, who cannot lie, says He knows of no other God beside Him, but it's a lie.

Genesis 3:5
For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

That's not what God is saying at all. God is a God of order. He is saying worship only our Heavenly Father in the name of His Son. The complete organization of heaven has not been revealed. Only what we need to know during this probationary period or test of mortal life.

God does not need worship. Worship is there to promote humility, among other positive attributes, in us.

You claim that I limit my knowledge of God by not realizing that He is lying to me in the bible.

I made no such claim in any way.

You DO limit your knowledge of God by refusing to believe that God has the power to reveal more of His words to us. The power to call prophets. You deny these things.

Rev 11 is proof that God calls prophets in the last days.

Paul prophesied that false religions would have a form of Godliness. Which means it's not real. And they deny the power of God.

I believe that God's power is limitless. That He has many things left to reveal to man. I believe in personal revelation. I believe there are much much more scripture to be given. Prophets to be called and miracles to be shown. I don't limit God's power at all. So Paul wasn't talking about me or my Church.

However, you believe that God doesn't call prophets. You won't accept any new scripture, etc... thus in reality, limiting God's power in relation to what He can do in your life.

BTW, God has never stated that He would limit His words. That's a product of the great apostasy.
