It is not a wise thing to do. We should be working to embrace the 90% of what we agree on, not drive wedges in between the few things we disagree on.

Is that really the ratio? I was pondering that after debating with a Mormon the other day. I felt like I had a bit more in common with Catholics than Mormons but is it really a lot?

I understand how you feel.

But one day last summer, after filling up my plate(s) with really good stuff from the buffet table, I got to the punch bowl.

And there, floating...

...After that; my appetite was just not the same.
