I was reading your recap of your testimony to LC when this non sequitur popped up sounding like a potential threat:
Threads like this one often degenerate into pronouncements as to who is or is not a true Christian. That led to the Thirty Years’ War among other sectarian strifes.
My question to you is...
Have you paid attention over the years to which group of worshippers has most requested the demise of the FR Religion forum and has most lamented this forum's existance?
Holy smoke, I was indulging in a little hyperbole! No calls for religious war here.
Maybe I should have said that the passing of judgement on someone’s Christianity such as goes on here can appear to be intolerance of individual differences.
Criticizing a thread is not calling for its abolition, IMO.
Let’s debate, but without the implied charge of apostasy.
