Honoring the Virgin Mary, conceived without sin as the holy vessel who would give birth to Jesus our Savior, with the title of Mother of God, does not mean that she is thought a goddess.

Who has TAUGHT you this NON-biblical stuff?

It does seem that if Jesus had any brothers Jesus would not have asked John to take care of his mother.

I does seem this way; but since we have NO clue as to the circumstances of the brothers at this time...

The Lord commands us to be fruitful and multiply and physical intimacy is God’s gift between a husband and a wife. Don’t see any reason why God’s most precious gifts would have been denied to Mary and Joseph.

Mary is dead; in Heaven no doubt, but NOT omniscient; asking you friend to pray for you is reasonable; that person, properly, would be praying to GOD on your behalf; not to Mary.

I have answered that multiple times already. The Holy Spirit did NOT use the term "mother of God". I have no doubt He knew what He was doing. For man to change the words the Holy Spirit used is beyond audacious.

Ah yes! There we have one of those coined terms of some men who thought they could understand fully the natures of Christ and it's implications and workings. Preposterous!

Going beyond what the Holy Spirit inspired to be written is akin to playing God. Claiming knowledge not clearly revealed in scripture is blasphemous and anyone engaging in it risks the wrath of God.

Well, not up to us to decide, ultimately; she did confess her need for a savior — so, I hope and trust she’s there. I just don’t pray to those who:
A) Can’hear me
B) Can’t help me

We pray to God Almighty directly because we can!

Why can't an intelligent Catholic admit that the phrase 'Mother of GOD' is NOT found in Scripture?

The BIBLE; however; does NOT indicate that Mary is anything more than DEAD at this time.
