But we must remember, as I believe the Reformed tradition does, she is simply one of his disciples no better than any other believer in Christ.

St. Luke seems to disagree with you...

""My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden. For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed; for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name." (Luke 1:46-49)

St. John disagrees, too, especially in the sense that he calls Mary the mother of all Christians:

"And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to bear a child, that he might devour her child when she brought it forth; she brought forth a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron [i.e. Jesus] [...] Then the dragon was angry with the woman, and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God and bear testimony to Jesus. (Revelation 12:4,17)

So... are you one who keeps the commandments of God and bears testimony to Jesus? Then congratulations! The Bible says that you're a child of Mary!

“St. John disagrees, too, especially in the sense that he calls Mary the mother of all Christians:”

John never calls Mary anything in that vision. He speaks of “the woman”, not of Mary. Conflating that woman with Mary is strictly a Catholic interpretation.

And where does John say that is Mary?

And where does Rome officially teach that is the only interpretation of that verse?

And where does this interpretation enjoy the unanimous consent of the fathers?

If #2 is not the case, then that is simply one interpretation, and which is the wrong one.

More if you can back to me.

I thought Catholics were not allowed their own PERSONAL interpretation of scripture ?? Because the idea that the woman in Rev was Mary is precisely that . John never called the woman Mary or Mamma ..He called her a SIGN

Rome has never given an INFALLIBLE interpretation of that scripture

The one given by the US conference of Bishops does not agree with you ...How about that ??
