The blood last liquefied in a pope's presence in 1848
The blood of St Januarius liquefied in the presence of a pope for the first time since 1848 on Saturday.
The blood of the patron saint of Naples, which is normally solid, partially liquefied after Pope Francis kissed the relic during his day trip to the southern Italian city.
According to AFP, Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe of Naples showed the vial to the congregation in the citys cathedral, saying: The blood has half liquefied, which shows that St Januarius loves our Pope and Naples.

Every Christian church claims to be the one and only true christian faith and all others are false and misguided.
I do not share that sentiment. My church is the path for ME. I recognize it is not the only path and not the path for many.
The fact is, man is too evil, racist, separatist, egotistical and vile for all of us to follow one faith. We constantly fight among ourselves. I give the Lord God the credit for realizing that man is too banal for all of us to Hear his Word from just one denomination. My Church is the right church for ME but I realize others may need a different path.
There are many people who can’t see this and think their path is the ONLY path.
