I agree...I have a relative who purposely did this using IVF ...she just wanted another child...I cried when I found out. Also, divorce can do the same

The desire to have one’s biological children is inherent in all animals. The difference with humans is that if one cannot have one naturally, there are other ways to do so.

The problem, like with these children, is parents who don’t always consider the life long ramifications of the methods they use to have a child.

I understand Elton’s desire, but at what cost to the child? What price will these children pay for a need that could not be filled in a natural and as these girls said, complimenary sexual relationship?

The other one still is, because even IVF involves sperm fertilizing an egg, the sperm came from a man, and the ovum from a woman. There are two genders, regardless of how much one wishes to pretend that there are not.

Society can try to make it taboo to have this natural instinct but they cannot erase it. They can only hound and bully those who speak out.

So far as I can tell, with several adoptions in my immediate family, this is not so much "natural instinct" as it is longing to fill holes in ones life.

The closest analogy I can think of is searching for "high school sweethearts" online when your marriage is in rough shape.

I don't disagree with D&G, but I also can't deny the efficacy of adoption as compared to biological parentage.
