I’m afraid that I still have to wonder which sand dune he’s been hiding his head in for the last few decades.
There's no reason to belittle this priest ["Fr. Anonymous"], and by doing so, the author put a damper on her article for me. Christ is well aware of what is going on, and He can fix the problem, but not without people coming to Him (in droves would be nice).

I've had people on Twitter, Facebook, and even Free Republic [practicing Catholics] tell me they just don't have an adoration chapel close by, yet they do go to Mass on Sundays. The same Jesus who is at adoration is also in the Blessed Sacrament at Mass, and they can come early (the doors are always open beforehand) or stay after (between Masses or if no other Mass remains, until the church is locked up) and pray before the tabernacle. Jesus is the answer.

Well ponder this one. The same type of people who claim to be Catholic on line always claim that they can't have communion because they are divorced or remarried, etc.

But if they actually went to Mass, they would find that the priests now get moved around on a fairly regular basis and they have no idea who can or cannot receive the Eucharist.

So by the there own admission whether or not the realize it, they KNOW it's wrong to take the Eucharist because they took the vow before GOD, until Death do us part! I don't care how the Bishops try to change that Wrong is wrong! No? Will the vow change to Until some specified time in the future when I decide that you suck and I want a younger, thinner, prettier, fatter gayer what have you version? Are they going to change the matrimonial vows?

I agree.

The article is a bit over the top but this discussion needs to happen. Bishops conferences are making statements pro and con and the issue isn't going away.
