So you changed the subject to transubstantiation?

I find your comments condescending and infantile.

While I find that your chosen religion's to be arrogant and bombastic:

"One indeed is the universal Church of the faithful, outside which no one at all is saved, in which the priest himself is the sacrifice, Jesus Christ, whose body and blood are truly contained in the sacrament of the altar under the species of bread and wine; the bread (changed) into His body by the divine power of transubstantiation, and the wine into the blood, so that to accomplish the mystery of unity we ourselves receive from His (nature) what He Himself received from ours." — Pope Innocent III and Lateran Council IV (A.D. 1215)

Therefore, if anyone says that it is not by the institution of Christ the lord himself (that is to say, by divine law) that blessed Peter should have perpetual successors in the primacy over the whole Church; or that the Roman Pontiff is not the successor of blessed Peter in this primacy: let him be anathema. — Vatican 1, Ses. 4, Cp. 1

You are wasting our time.

Well; if nothing else; it keeps you from running the streets.

Christ on the Cross isn’t the end from which there is no more to be done, it is the beginning from which all else is possible. It is more than paying the price for sinners, it is restoring lost family members to the Holy Family of God.

Rom 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Jhn 19:28 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst

.Jhn 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Was anyone saved at the cross??

I am TIRED of being branded a heretic or a Protestant if I don’t always march in lock step with the Church.

a real easy way around that is to stop spouting heretical protestant nonsense.

I would also suggest that unless you are in the Norfolk VA area that you get together with your Grand Knight and tell him of those points that you disagree with the Catholic Church. I am certain that he will be glad to temporarily suspend your membership until you get your head on straight.

You are not a Catholic in good standing and are not permitted membership in the Knights until you are. I might suggest the Masonic lodge down the road they will put up with that nonsense.

Christ only opened the door as far as Catholics are concerned right? Man has to work to merit the rest?

Why don't you argue from your own perspective rather than putting comments into my mouth to defend.

There is one thing I know. God is pure LOVE. More than you can Imagine. Why, because 30yrs ago I had something similar to a near death experience in which I had a glimpse of Heaven and the experience is something I will never forget.

Indeed He is love...He is also Holy, righteous, justice, wrath ...

In the Jewish culture, a word was repeated 3 times to give it the emphasis ...You never see anywhere in scripture that God is "love,love,love'..but you do see that He is "Holy, Holy,Holy".. THAT is His primary attribute ...not love...

Until man understand the holiness of God and see themselves in relationship to that instead of to their neighbor, they will never understand the wrath of God against sin, they will never understand how great their need for a Savior

Yes. Those who had been baptized in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Who have been saved since? The same.

The Cross is promise, not the end of salvation history. It is the completion of the New Covenant but not the end of the story. What remains is the Great Commission to bring the Gospel to the whole world through preaching, teaching and baptizing.

When the Catholic Church put scripture in second place to their tradition they put their followers in a rather untenable position when discussing scripture didn’t they.

Salvation history doesn't lend itself to slogans very well. The Church takes much greater pains to explain deep theology in such bodies of work as the Summa Theologica, Papal Encyclicals, the homilies and writings of the Doctors of the Church, et al, than can adequately be explained through trite jargon. When you try, you set up straw men arguments that are nothing but nonsense... they make you feel superior to your target but truly say nothing about the subject.

If you want to attack Church theology, I recommend you read an actual body of work rather than tracts about bodies of work you've never read.

>>Why don't you argue from your own perspective rather than putting comments into my mouth to defend.<<

2010 Since the initiative belongs to God in the order of grace, no one can merit the initial grace of forgiveness and justification, at the beginning of conversion. Moved by the Holy Spirit and by charity, we can then merit for ourselves and for others the graces needed for our sanctification, for the increase of grace and charity, and for the attainment of eternal life. Even temporal goods like health and friendship can be merited in accordance with God's wisdom. These graces and goods are the object of Christian prayer. Prayer attends to the grace we need for meritorious actions.

She is saved where she is, and no Papal incantations will change that!
Romans 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
