My dad has been in poor and declining health for the last year. Over the last few days he has taken a decided turn for the worse with the doctors saying he needs urgent surgery to repair a partially collapsed lung. Unfortunately he is so weak and emaciated that the surgery is considered high risk. Without the surgery though, it's probably just a matter of time.
Prayer are deeply appreciated.
Prayers up for your dad, and you.

It is so hard to deal with your parents declining with age.
Our Lord comfort you and family through this difficult time. Amen.
