Shimmer, I hope you have some help with shopping for food, basic meal preparation, light laundry, organizing pills, etc. If you don't have help, call a local church....they are usually absolutely delighted to get a volunteer or two over to your place for a couple hours a week.

My son, who has been so close to me all his life, asked me to move up here so he could take care of me. Now he doesn’t speak to me much. I don’t know why. He married last year. I don’t know if that has anything to do with it or not. I just don’t know what has happened to him. He lives four miles from me and has just abandoned me during this hardest time in my life.
I rely on the grace of strangers.
Fortunately I have good insurance.
