Is Christian Zionism good for the Jews?
Not every Jew thinks so.
In fact, Christian Zionists make many Jews crazy.
Why?
Worry # 1: Jews believe that Christian Zionists believe that all Jews need to be back in the land of Israel before Jesus can return.
Except it’s not true.
I once asked Ralph Reed, the prominent conservative activist and founder of the Christian Coalition, about this.
“Rabbi, I’ve been in church every Sunday of my life and I have never heard such a thing. It’s not the last book of our Bible [Revelation, which speaks of the end of days]; it’s the first book of your Bible. It’s Genesis 12. ‘Those who bless you I will bless, and those who curse you I will curse.’ And, Rabbi, we want that blessing.”
Some evangelical Christians believe that the creation of the state of Israel in 1948 is part of the countdown towards redemption.
But many Jews believe the same thing. Check out the Jewish prayer for the state of Israel. It says that the state of Israel is the “beginning of the flowering of our redemption.”
And what if Christian Zionists believed that all of the Jews have to be back in the Land at the time of the Second Coming?
I’ll worry about that when the time comes.

Salkin is a left wing kook who is not even honest. He misrepresents Islam in the same way he misrepresents Christianity. I can’t fathom his motive, other than he really, really wants to be liked.
Unfortunately, the Muslims in Jerusalem have co-opted the Christians by holding them down in their ghettos.
It “should” have been easy for the Christians and Jews to bond against the Muslims, but I haven’t seen that happening in Jerusalem.

“Jew”. Define it. The article gives the impression that a Jew has certain DNA and that’s it. What or who is a Jew to God? He HAS a definition because he pointed to them.
To me a “Jew” transmits the Torah, the Link between Heaven and earth, through Time.

Well in truth, you really do have 2 Christian sections in Jerusalem, meaning you have to count in the Armeanian section as well.

Being a Christian seems pretty tough there.

I think it is #3. But Jews need not worry about this. They are the cultivated tree and we are the wild tree (Romans). We will be grafted onto them, not they onto us. When the time comes, which should in no way be rushed. The Lord will accomplish this.

The alliance you would hope for does not exist.
Instead Christians are forced to link w Islam, which only makes things worse for Christians and Jews.
Our only fear is evangelicals snatching uneducated Jewish souls before they’ve received their own birthright and tree of life, the Torah. Gentlemen, start your engines.
