He who truly believes will obey Jesus and be baptized. Yes, faith is necessary but nowhere in the Bible does it say faith alone. For all the claim of sola scriptura, Protestant theology of sola fides is based on human rationalization, not on the Bible.

Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
