I do know that in a fallen world there is no perfect chuch. As I said, have the discussion; make it civil. If it cannot be civil, don’t have it. I think if you look back through all the comments you will be embarrassed (by both “sides”) at the mean spirited nature. It is counterproductive to both the main focus of FR and the specific focus of this post.
He is one of the few posters who tell the truth. He backs up what he says with verses from the Bible unlike others. No one forces anyone to read these threads.

Although I am Catholic, I have had the opportunity to attend a Lutheran Service (all LMCS) on several occasions for a wedding and baptisms of family members.
While there are differences, I was struck by the many similarities between the Lutheran Service and the Catholic Mass.
So you are arguing again contention for Truth and advocating ecumenism while being ignorant of the issues dividing us? And no going to a RC mass is hardly an excuse not to know that issues. Just click on this link .

I start out endevouring to be civil with RC, but when the other party becomes arrogant then i usually have gone quite a distance with them, while a select few have made the better not to engage list due to their unreason-able attitude.
