Why would you think Christ would sin against the Jewish law that He was supposed to keep? If Jesus ate blood He would not be the sinless sacrifice.

So wise! ... The Bible says (and therefore the Word, The Word made Flesh Who dwelt among us) that the life is in the blood. By faith, not fluid, we accept the life, The Life in The Blood SIGNIFIED by the cup of wine, as Jesus signified it on that night in which He was betrayed. Jesus passed the cup of BLESSED wine, not his blood, for to pass His blood for drinking would have broken God’s law to the Jews to Whom He offered the symbol of His blood shed for them. If one cannot carry out this SYMBOL of receiving His Life, then they receive it not by faith.
