I wonder if the Catholic Church will experience a new schism if the German Bishops don’t get their way.

Kind of like what happened with Martin Luther. I think the German Bishops are way out of line. The German opera stage designers too - maybe it is Germany??

If we do not get a new Pope and a strong Conservative Pope soon I fear a major schism.

We need not change the Church. There are plenty of dying Protestant churches people can be openly divorced, remarried and even involved in church sponsored sodomy. The Church of Rome need not find room for them in their pews.

It is difficult to get to Heaven. Most of us will not. That is written. Without following the faith, we are doomed to eternal damnation. Bishops are double damned when they deny the teachings of Christ and his Church.

The church has been through much worse than this. Believe it.
