Matthew, chapter 6:9-15 (RNAB)

 

The Lord’s Prayer.

9^* “This is how you are to pray:^c

Our Father in heaven,^*

hallowed be your name,

10your kingdom come,^*

your will be done,

on earth as in heaven.^d

11^{* e} Give us today our daily bread;

12and forgive us our debts,^*

as we forgive our debtors;^f

13and do not subject us to the final test,^*

but deliver us from the evil one.^g

14^* If you forgive others their transgressions, your heavenly Father will forgive you.^h

15But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your transgressions.ⁱ >

Interesting that Jesus said to go directly to the Father in heaven for forgiveness rather then some earthly fake priest isn’t it.
