God is not done with his chosen people...They are in a holding pattern while God attends to the Gentiles...You want to mimic and compare yourself to the Jews with their traditions and O.T. rituals when God specifically tells you otherwise??? There's more to the story...I'd recommend you finish reading the 'book'...
I think you are the one who specifically needs to finish reading the 'book', my friend. You seem to have missed the entire section labeled "New Testament". One wonders why you're a Christian since you seem to think God prefers the group that rejected his son and yelled "crucify him!"
