Since the book of Revelation disagrees with your comment please give me the chapter and verse on that promise.
Jesus Christ doesn’t promise the Church will always teach truth as Revelation states. Scripture says that Christ is the truth.

That refers to all of us believers not the institutional building called a church.
Thou are Peter the little pebble (petros) and upon this rock (Jesus’s truth petra, rock of Gibraltar). Jesus Christ uses a bunch of us little pebbles to build his giant rock his Church.

Christ is the Truth. And He established His Church to teach His Truth until he returns. Scripture says the Church is the foundation of Truth.
“But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.” 1Tim 3:15
Christ established a Church. Christ did not establish a Bible.
