Some people don’t seem very interested in finding out about those works which bring about forgiveness of sins, or those works which make faith fruitful, etc.

There are no works that do either of those two things.

Works cannot bring about forgiveness or else it is not grace but wages due. And without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins so works don't cut it.

Works don't make faith fruitful. Faith is fruitful or not. If it is, works result.
