The biggest reason I’m against it is because it is a slippery slope...especially as the gov’t gets more involved in medical care.
Soon it will be a financial decision and not one based on pain. The state will say they can’t afford to take care of you and that you should end it. They can use guilt...why spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to live just another 6 months without a good quality of life. Let your children/taxpayers not waste that money and instead let’s have a celebration of your life as you kill yourself.
