Full title: Christian Blogger Veronica Partridge Says She Is 'Under Attack From Satan' After Post Claiming Leggings Tempt Men Draws Criticism
A Christian blogger under fire for saying women who wear leggings inadvertently risk tempting members of the opposite sex, says that she and her husband are under attack from Satan.
Oregon resident Veronica Partridge, 25, sparked a firestorm of criticism earlier this month when she said she had chosen to stop wearing leggings as pants in public to honor her Christian faith in a candid blog post that went viral.
"I've had a lot of both positive and negative responses, probably more negative than positive ... it's definitely not what I was expecting," Partridge told The Christian Post exclusively.
In her 500-word blog post, Partridge, who prides herself on having "your not-so-average Christian family," shared that she made the decision to stop wearing leggings in public two months ago after having an honest conversation with her husband Dale. He admitted to her that for him it is "hard not to look" at other women in leggings.

What in the world is this?
Leggings? Are we back in the 80s?
I wonder if she thinks God wants her to have that ring in her nose.
I told my wife that I couldn’t believe spandex had come back in style. She rebutted, saying they’re leggings...different material. I first noticed the trend at a mall about 5 years ago and it has grown. I can only assume women like them because they appear to be more classy than sweats, but just as comfortable. In any case, I agree with the blogger and wish women would be more modest, including my wife.
Does the ring tempt men?
Never heard short pants called “leggings”. I always heard them called capris.

Must be the Tribulation.
I agree with her because God’s Word does.
“I always heard them called capris”.
Leggings come in different lengths.. so the shorter ones are capri style. They are somewhat like sweatpants; however, they are more fitted. My teenage daughter wears them with long shirts/sweaters/hoodies and personally I don’t see a thing wrong with them. I guess it is “how” you wear them (like anything else) that may promote oogling. IMHO.
Yes, that can be a problem sometimes.
lol. each time a chick wears them she acts like she is Einstein. there is a problem with arrogance. worse part is when I see modestly dressed women coming out of Catholic church going to dunking donuts looking up to women there who dress like sexy whores, as if those were their betters.
Dunkin Donuts is where the spiritual battle happens where I am at and the Catholic girls always go Obama worship on this trash. it is ridiculous.
Dang it. Now my eyes are bleeding.
The Church promotes women’s freedom theough life as a nun without the sexual harassment and servitude to men or sex in general.
The government provides a life out of the family but for the benefit of the pimp... it is a different route.
:)
Ah, how I miss lovely Helen Thomas.
If you feel that way, you should tell her.
