I love to get away with stuff that catholics can't, such as, I get away with not going to mass, not going to confession to a sinner, not participating in worthless rites and rituals. These have indeed an appearance of wisdom in promoting self-made religion and asceticism and severity to the body, but they are of no value in stopping the indulgence of the flesh.

Hey, but they're good. Just a few trips around the rosary and a few more extra years in purgatory, and they're all good.

I've actually heard Catholic joking about sinning and doing extra penance so they'll be OK. I'm sure you have too.

It's the very thing they condemn Protestants for. No wonder they project onto us that we do that and look at sin the same way as they do. It's all they know and they can't conceive of anything different, like what the regenerated spirit is all about.
