No, Jesus did not say that and only via a twisting of the context of what He DID say makes the RCC even remotely possible.

"I will build" is obviously what He said, although I grant it was not spoken in English nor in Greek.

The RC posters here on FR are expressively proud of their religion, their heritage, their acquired works of art and properties, their traditions and rituals, and their very odd leaders. They are not likely to change their minds.

But other FR forum readers can consider the posts for themselves for what they're worth...and decide which posters are offering the best evidence, or at least have a Christian attitude in their posting behavior.

Yes of course He is always at work...but He does works within His time frame of events...and that among His people. I do believe fully HE is pulling on people to come out of where they are stuck in belief systems they need to come away from....today more than prior as that time draws nearer.
