Besides battling the Vatican court and their interests, he (Francis) launched a crusade to take Catholicism back to being in touch with social movements, embracing their goal.

Jesus Christ wasn’t a socialist. He was the Son of God. And just what have atheists ever done to advance the cause of civil rights?

There are many faithful Jews whose Insights and opinions I’d rather read — along with Catholic ones especially. Who needs another socialist atheist commentator on anything, including the Holy Father? Thanks for posting this but I find it of no significant value in either correctly understanding or evaluating our new Pope Francis. Maybe I overlooked something

Breno Altman is not a Jew, he does not understand the Church, his first article did not make much sense and neither does this one.
(In which he offers no evidence to any effect, just another muddy mess of verbose opinions.)
On one hand, the article is about how Breno Altman disagrees with himself about the Pope.
In essence, though, the article from the very beginning is what all empty men are about: “me, me, me, me...”

Francis isn't worthy of representing the Almighty.
He's either political, or dumb, but he needs to go.

Atheist: "I must confess I was wrong about Pope Francis"
In an atheist universe how could a part of it be "wrong"?
Cordially,

Pope Francis has single handely changed the connotation of the phrase , “Is the Pope Catholic?” from a humorous rhetorical statement to a legit question yet to be answered

When an atheist doesn’t speak ill of the Pope...that’s an obvious red flag.

The last one in my lineage to believe in God must have died in the beginning of the last century. Bah, go back to promoting islam like a good little atheist.

We both agree on disappointment with Pope Francis, but we are 180 degrees out on the timing of disappointment. Anyone who is on the same side of the aisle as the mouse King does not represent me.

Catholics are in a pickle aren't they? The vicar of Christ on Earth is a Marxist.
Religion takes another step towards irrelevance.
