Are you familiar with the Orthodox Akathist prayer? I have it in a book, but I think Kolokotronis knows a link to an English recording online.
I am getting familiar with it. It was posted sometime this week in one of the numerous Mary Threads. Oops I said it again MARY!
I was researching and there are many Akathist prayers. The word apparently means not sitting. I have not done much digging in the Orthodox. Maybe I am supposed to. :)
