You missed several salient parts.

1) Catholic Mass is offered EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK.
2) Every day of the week there are a minimum of three Scriptural readings typically one OLD testament, One Psalms and One New Testament.
3) There is the Liturgy of the Hours where prayers an Scripture are said roughly every four - six hours. Different scriptural passages are said SIX times a say.
