The issues are important, and sometimes the issues get blurred inasmuch as they become who the contributor is, not merely what he/she does or presents as a conjecture. I will try to keep inside the lines without compromising fact and truths being discussed.

Personally, I am not too concerned about being on the receiving end of personal slurs, because I know who I am, but these behaviors can cloud the issues.

Hang in there bro. We know who we are, so don't sweat the small stuff. Just remember, Jesus also took a lot of personal slurs too, and said if they dislike you, they disliked Him first. Keep preaching the gospel. The truth isn't always popular, but don't worry about it. 😄 We will be out preaching this week too. 🎆
