Right: the woman loved Jesus and she venerated Mary. Did Jesus stop her? No, He explain how she should venerate His Blessed Mother: for Mary's hearing Him, the Word, and keeping Him and His word.
I have a whole article on this:
Veneration of Mary in Luke 11:27-28

Jesus doesn't venerate Mary... and use of the word "venerate" in the catholic verbage to excuse and twist their otherwise "worship" of her isn't going to alter the reality that they do..... It just makes catholic "feel" more comfortable about doing what they know they shouldn't....and desensitizes them to the reality of what they ARE doing.
Catholics need to get their heads out of catholic teachings and rely on God's word....but then they can't I understand...it's not enough to trust God and His Word...nor the very Spirit that wrote it.

(But let your word 'yes be 'yes,' and your 'no be 'no.' Anything more than this is from the evil one.)
