God is love, not hate! You can quote all the chapters and verses you want, interpret them the way you want; you can't convince me that our God is hateful, nor that He wishes us to hate our bretheren!

Nothing like that was said in the post you replied to. This verse was quoted:

Revelation 2:6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

Note the bolded areas.

God breathed Scripture is inerrant.

God is not hateful per se, but there certainly are things He hates.

Of course He's not hateful. He's a loving God who would have all men be saved. He is also a just God and has given stern warning about what happens when going against His wishes. Being a just God is not hateful.

We don't hate our brethren. We hate what they do and we hate how they deceive others into error.
