Presenting lies about Catholics and the Catholic Church are sure a funny way of doing that.

I believe that is an untruth of the highest order.

Never heard of one prot who wanted to reconcile with Catholics.

Their words belie their ‘best intentions’

Hello, Friend in Christ! Prots don’t fear Catholics...they are trying to reconcile with them...in the name of the Lord!

I know something that helps me on situations where I'm trying to reconcile. I like to hear what the other person thinks so I can see where they're coming from. It helps both sides to get a look at each other's point of view. I may not be able to agree with a person, but I can try to step into their shoes for a minute.

I have a genuine question. If the Protestant Reformers, most notably Martin Luther, were discontented with the sale of indulgences, which most informed Catholics will admit was not the way things were meant to be, why was the idea of Purgatory rejected completely, instead of simply rejecting the sale of indulgences?

Again, this is out of a genuine desire to understand.

Thank you, and God bless you!
