Thanks for the info. Did not know they were from the Methodists. Thought the Methodists baptized and adhered to The Lord’s Supper.

Just saw my son’s school music teacher march by in the local parade with the Salvation Army earlier today. Will have to ask her about the above.

However for Rome Holy Scriptures is subservient to their sacred tradition and Pope/magesterium.

Only scriptures which upholds (or after some serious wresting of such) the pope and tradition gets the nod.

As I recall ... the mean temp in Davao area is around 70 low and 95 high .... sure, there are variables ... but with the exception of wet and dry ... that's about it.

We're not too bad here in SW Pa ... avg 30 low .. 40 high ... been that way for a week and a half and looks to stay that way for another week and a HALF

The SA is a church, Wesleyan roots IIRC. They have a military structure for the church hierarchy.

FWIW I have been a bell ringer for years. I have volunteered to sponsor a day and rounded up coworkers to ring the bell and also just been out for two hours with my kids. This year it will be my youngest’s last year as she us going off to college.

Then as I started posting here I thought the RCs were like the RCs in my family, friends and work associates. Wow was I surprised. The conservative traditional RCs I know in real life day to day are nothing like what I see posted here. It is like we are in some Jesuit and Opus Dei bizarro world here.

They are the minority "real Catholics" in a liberal church with a liberal pope and with some who seem driven to continually post propaganda in order to convince themselves that their fantasy church is real, and or by volume to overcome the weight of evidence that has exposed and refuted their propaganda.

Plus where I live, a local radio does in the last few weeks before Christmas, they team up with the Salvation Army to help it fundraise.

Whoever wrote this article should very much consider going to confession.
