BCE = Before the Common Era
BC = Before Christ

In terms of chronology, they are the same.

BCE is the way that atheists get to say a date without making reference to Christ

Before the Common Era. It is a way of eliminating Christ from history as if he never existed. Yet the start of the ‘common era’ is the death & Resurrection of Jesus and the start of the Church.

God, sorry, Gaia forbid we actual have a true history of the World!

To me, BCE is before the Christian Era and CE is Christian Era.
