My Angel is named John. When I was very young I am convinced I spoke to him. He’s awesome and always there when I need him.

Last day? Well there are 11 mentions of the last days in the New Testament. None of them can be place outside of the first century with the end of the old covenant age in AD 70. Start with Acts 2 and Hebrews 1. See my blog www.prophecyquestions.wordpress.com.

Historically, the Catholic Church has never looked forward to the "second coming." According to its doctrine, the messianic advent and the "messianic kingdom" occurred two thousand years ago ("spiritually" and non-literally). The Catholic Church claims to be the only "messianic kingdom" that will ever exist. The only thing the "second coming" will do is burn the world up.

Fundamentalist Protestants, of course, attribute this antipathy to the "second coming" to a bad conscience, to an inner awareness that they're going to be punished badly for deviating from "true" chrstianity. This is the same attitude all forms of chrstianity attribute to Judaism vis a vis the "first advent." Ironic, huh?
