ok. what are the actual Guttmacher numbers. i don’t know exactly where the numbers published in the article came from. the article *says* Guttmacher was the pollster so i have to accept that apriori.
yes, your quote is a bald face lie and an obvious one (i’m just ignoring that as obvious and looking at the numbers. that is where the more effective and damnable lie is). i’m not worried about the lie you’re pointing out. that kind of lie is easy to detect.
and again, i’m glad this was posted because it avails the study of yet another very important tool in the devil’s arsenal, the subtile way of lying with statistics or numbers.
Posts 12 and 18 have the Guttmacher numbers.
The authors are wrong with their numbers and percentages, and with that bizarre quote, they don’t have any idea what those women’s political views are on abortion, or even the level of their relationship with and thoughts on Jesus.
If I understood you correctly, you mistook the writer’s words for Planned Parenthood’s or Guttmacher’s, doesn’t that explain how dishonest the article is, and why it would bother me?
The writer is trying to create and spread this lie to America. “”Those who claim to know Jesus and who protest against abortion the most account for nearly 80% of all abortions.””
