From pro-life Christian Dr. La Verne Tolbert:
So, who is having these abortions? We are. According to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, the research arm of Planned Parenthood:
The highest proportion (43%) identify
themselves as Protestant. 27% of women having an abortion identify themselves as Catholic, and 8% as members of another religion. 22% reported no religious affiliation. 13% identified themselves as born again or evangelical .. Those who claim to know Jesus and who protest against abortion the most account for nearly 80% of all abortions.

Well I could say I’m the King of England, don’t make it so.
Oh I realize a lot of people are “Christian” in name only. However judging from the last article I posted some churches need to be preaching a pro life message and I’m sure you’d agree!
Which part of the study shows these women as those who protest against abortion the most?
Probably because churches stress purity, (as they ought to) and these girls find their reputation, careers, and parental approval far more important than the fact that they have a human being growing inside of them. Or else they go to liberal “churches” with agents of Satan working on the inside to destroy some of God’s most precious creations.
Yeah, they claim to know Jesus. That doesn’t make them proponents of Godliness. It just means that they say the know Jesus. Actions speak louder than words, after all.
I would like to see the racial breakdown. that being said, if they are church goers than we can claim victory in the abortion battle. if they be us then we just need to spread a whole lot more of Jesus around so they don’t do what they are doin to have to resort to that.
It sure doesn’t mean that they are prolife and protesters, or even people who take a prolife position in a family discussion, besides he says that 30% of the people mentioned are not even Christian, so his claim is just made up, what we would call an obvious lie.
With young women like this, they can’t take responsibility for the things that they do. They think using birth control is bad, but have no problems having sex out of marriage and seem to view women who do use protection and birth control are somehow bad girls who are bad bad bad. It’s a dissociative emotional immaturity. They’re ‘good girls’ and no matter what they do, it’s good. For some reason they can’t understand (or refuse to) healthy sexual urges as a normal part of growing up and fail to learn to respect it. They prefer to use their bodies as a way to purge themselves. I wonder if they view the kid as a manifestation of that ‘sin’ and so think that by aborting, they’re purifying themselves.
These statistics are fabricated by Planned Paranthood in order to normalize abortion and destroy the image of Christian women.
Keep in mind, a person that kills a child cannot be a Christian, and no matter how much they repent and seek forgiveness, their path to being Forgiven is one of great difficulty and impossibility.
I call bs on this.
Here is the Guttmacher chart dated January, 2014.
Even using their numbers that 65% of them are Protestants and Catholics, how does this writer get to his bizarre claim of ""Those who claim to know Jesus and who protest against abortion the most account for nearly 80% of all abortions."", nobody measured for Jesus worshiping purity and prolife activism, and I doubt that many of these women fit that description
Very sad.
There’s a line for that on the forms?
It takes two to make a pregnancy. I suppose this is how the male participants see themselves too.
Does a man understand that by putting his p&nis in a woman, there is a very very good chance he is creating a child?
The sex drive is a powerful thing and it should be acknowledged and respected. Kids are taught in Boy Scouts/Girl Scouts that fire is a good servant but a poor master, and to keep that fire in the fireplace. Same with sex: keep that fire in the fireplace (marriage).
Sex IS important and it should not be ignored. It is powerful. It has to be. It is how new people are made.
Lot of these nut bags are just saying they are Christian to undermine Christianity. Who cares what they think, or that 80% of women identify with Christianity? What a joke.
According to Guttmacher itself, only 65% of the women are Christians, and the writer is totally dishonest in describing them as he does as devout, abortion protesting Christians.
Yeah, and Obama tells everyone he’s a Christian too.
Sometimes when women who say they are against abortion find themselves in an unwanted pregnancy, they convince themselves that somehow their situation is “special” so they grant themselves an exception just for their case. But they are no different from any other woman who aborts her baby.
