Oh please. You do this also. It’s what catholicism is built upon. OVT: One verse theology.

Scripture also doesn’t tell us that Prots would condone abortion and homosexual marriages, but it’s happened.

Why? He was born in a stable. Why not a palace, nothing less for the Son of God and King of Kings? Your logic fails.

You are not using logic. You are working from a false premise. Being born in a stable ands being the Son of God are not mutually exclusive.

“LOL! That’s what Protestants do all the time....So, please don’t put all Catholics in one bucket.”

Oh the irony.

Your arrogance is appalling. Of course Jesus Christ is too good for us.

If He was too good for us, then what's up with Him becoming human like us and dying in our place to save us.

Philippians 2:5-8 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

But the humility of Christ does not fail. Have you forgotten that?

Read the whole chapter and see if it changes anything.

Dude you've got some serious issues if you think this.

I'm done with this conversation. Gonna finish watching FSU-GT.

So, please don’t put all Catholics in one bucket.

So now it's every man his own pope?

1.2 billion versions of Catholicism?

But the humility of Christ does not fail.

Then He didn't need a *perfect* womb to be carried in, now did He?

If all else fails, attack the messenger.

And then they wonder why we don’t identify with any specific denomination.......

It’s not what I think. It’s what’s fact.

So called “christian” protestant churches are condoning abortion and homosexual marriages.

Enjoy your game. I’ll be watching Louisiana’s voting results, hoping the “Catholic” Mary Landrieu loses big time.

When all else fails, change the subject.

Back to the original point.

Just because the Bible doesn’t say something didn’t happen, doesn’t mean that anyone who feels like it can take the liberty to make stuff up, claim it happened, then demand others disprove it, and then proceed to teach it as truth.

The demon-worshipping muslims also don’t recognize the Immaculate Conception.

You’re in good company.

No. I do not accept demonic apparitions, no matter who they pass themselves off as.

are you referring to Moses and Elias appearing with Jesus??

I am a Roman Catholic. I believe in my heart that Mary, the Ever-Virgin Mother of Jesus Christ was conceived in the womb of her mother, St. Anne by the method God chose, i.e. through St. Joachim, Mary’s natural father and Anne’s husband. Furthermore, I believe that Jesus gave His Blessed Mother Mary to us, as Our Mother, from the Cross. It’s a matter of faith, and I’m genuinely sorry you don’t believe that. It’s a joy just to speak of her, the closest to perfect of all God’s creations! Choose to believe it or not, friend in Christ, Mary is there and she loves you as her own child! Catholics don’t worship Mary. We love her! She leads us to Jesus! I hope you have a beautiful Christmas season! God bless you!

....”If Mary had not sinned, she wouldn’t need God’s grace. Only sinners need grace”....

It’s quite amazing the hoops they have to jump through in order to squeeze and remold scripture to “fit” the beliefs of their Mary.

It’s as though at all costs Mary must come out smelling like a Rose and Jesus the afterthought. Every argument with Catholicism ‘centers’ on Mary....that’s not going to change you know....for without their Mary and the Priesthood their entire belief system would fall like a deck of cards.
