I'd like to see Fr. Longnecker explain the following:

Who, then, can be saved?

Catholics can be saved if they believe the Word of God as taught by the Church and if they obey the commandments.

Jews can be saved if they look forward in hope to the Messiah and try to ascertain whether God’s promise has been fulfilled.

This is pure heresy. .Are there any members of the hierarchy that don't believe this? Are there any who are not Modernist heretics? Alex, I don't expect you to answer those questions.

Which interpretation is subject to interpretation by those in the church the settles the problem of too often having to engage in interpretation to know what it True.
