I think the critical thing to be aware of is which view interprets Scriptural with a literal first understanding and which view allegorizes Scripture.

Premillennialists look at Scripture with a literal first understanding.

Postmillennialists and Amillennialists allegorize prophecy in Scripture. In addition they claim that the church has replaced Israel and any covenant promises made to Israel are now either fulfilled in the church, or void.

My point being, while "everyone has their own opinion and idea" only the Premillennialists are consistent in how they interpret Scripture.

My father once explained to me that opinions are like a persons rear end. Everyone has one and most of them stink.

That being said, The Lord has told us that the hour or even day of the second coming of The Lord is not known by anyone including Himself except for The Father. Speculation about when it will happen is just that speculation. If there happens to be a representative of The Lord on the earth and he says he knows, then he is a liar or the scriptures lie.

We simply do not know the answer to this line of questions. Those that are alive when The Lord returns, they will know but only after He returns.

My private speculation is that Christians will have to weather the storm of the tribulation just like everybody else but they will not be subject to the trials of the horrors of drugs, queer lifestyles, alcohol abuse, sex abuse, Aids and other sexually transmitted disease simply because of their Christian lifestyle. There will be those who call themselves Christian who will not be Christian whom I suspect will suffer more than those truly living the Christian lifestyle as taught by Christ.

I’m thinking it will be good to live to an old age and die peacefully in your sleep rather than have to try to live through the Tribulation. That having been said, surviving the Tribulation and seeing the Glorious arrival of Jesus Christ would be a wonder to behold for sure.
