All churches are subject to corruption as they are run by men. The question you need to ask yourself is a different question. You need to ask what church did Jesus found?

The answer is the Catholic Church.

I rather think it was Paul.

Why didn’t Jesus, then well into his ministry, Christianize the Lord’s Prayer rather than use an already familiar Hebrew formulary (the Amidah) which in fact, gives it its more universal appeal?

You need to ask what church did Jesus found?

Matthew 18:20 speaks to this...For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.

Jesus didn't call that The Roman Catholic Church™, He just said that He'd be wherever His believers gathered. He never granted Rome a monopoly on salvation.

Uh, how about He Himself IS the church.

Not Catholic nor any other denomination.

One thing for certain, in heaven, there will only be people who've asked Him into their hearts, taken His name (not the name of a church), agreed to follow Him (not someone claiming to be His agent on earth) and believe only in Him, not some dogma, not even some church that claims it's leader is "infallible," not even one that claims to be "the only church!"

We are His bride, He is our bridegroom and when He comes, He comes for us.

The answer is the Catholic Church.

The answer is not the catholic church.

The catholic church had its beginnings AFTER the new testament church establish by Jesus. It is in historical record. But, thanks for the attempt anyway.

Are you saying the Catholic church is corrupt? Then why claim it is “true.”
