Christians and common sense win one, but this is not the end of this garbage. The sodomite nazis will sue in Federal court. If a Federal judge rules for religious freedom, which is highly unlikely, and it goes to the Supreme Court, sodomites will get their wish.

Yep. And it’s already one of the worst courts in history.

Liberals definitely believe in slavery. They pull back when they are exposed...for now. The way this country is sliding, soon they won't be stopped with reason or the law. It will require force.

Was it MLK who said, "Everything they did in Nazi Germany was legal."

Liberals crave real, live civil war...the hot kind.

Thank you for referencing that article NKP_Vet. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

It’s too bad that we’re hearing about technicalities with this issue when the media should be emphasizing the major constitutional problem of local / state governments wrongly unreasonably abridging people's constitutionally enumerated rights, the right of religious expression in this example. Section 1 of the 14th Amendment prohibits the states from doing such things.

” . . . the Hitching Post would have to become a not-for-profit to be exempt”

And I am sure that not-for-profit application will sail right through.

Right past the flying pigs.

Hallelujah! Yes we must remain vigilant. Christians must remember we are soldiers of the cross! Stand up for Jesus! Soft squishes and their feel-good religion have only emboldened these control-freak socialists.

As some other freeper so crudely, but accurately posted, the Soddies won't be happy until they can do a clusterf*** around an altar with the blessing of the parish priest.

Maybe not even then.

The laws are not being applied evenly. The Hitching Post’s ordained ministers are not required to perform gay marriages because of religious freedom laws. So the ordained ministers are given religious freedom but the general public is not? You have to be an ordained minister for the first Amendment to apply? I’ve never heard of such a thing.

What about the businesses that have been forced to serve homosexuals against their own personal religious beliefs? Don’t they have religious freedom too? Don’t they get they get the benefit of those laws? Why doesn’t the first Amendment apply to them as well?

All people should be allowed religious freedom to conduct their business whether they do it for a profit or not, whether their business is a specifically ordained ministry or not.

Perhaps Americans should begin to reconsider the drive for total equality, political, social, religious, economic etc. When the gays get power they immediately attack anyone perceived as a threat to their governance(any normal person) See the lesbian Houston Texas mayor. Perhaps a repeal of the non-discrimination statutes is in order.

Remember: When everyone has "Rights" no one has Rights.

Meanwhile, my advice to the Knapps is to move the Hitching Post just outside the city limits.

Gay activists are so full of hate, they won’t stop here.

The smart ones drop these types of cases. Why? Because they *know* this will expose the lie that Churches even need to be registered as 501c3’s in the first place, they’re exempt. This “separation of Church and State” goes both ways, the State has no jurisdiction over the Church. The fact that they say the ordinance doesn’t specify profit vs non-profit is irrelevant, it doesn’t get to just trump the Constitution because an “ordinance” doesn’t differentiate. If Churches ever realize the power that would be unleashed by realizing they don’t have to pander to 501c3 status - it would be devastating to the left. Which is why they never push the issue of revoking the 501c3 status for political speech. They just threaten it. They never want to really challenge it because they know they’d lose.

Yet the activists will not be able to see beyond their own hatred. It consumes them. They will ultimately push to prosecute only to lose so badly the backlash will be something unimaginable (to them). The more they prosecute the less support they’ll get. People will see them for what they are.

These are troubling times we live in. All things must come to pass...you can let it disturb you, or, you can appreciate the privilege of living in these times and seeing history unfold - toward the end game. We will be persecuted...for doing nothing wrong and you will be righteous.

As recently as say ten years ago, marriage being a man and a woman was not a religious peculiarity. It was just the definition of a word.

This is why we have to get out and vote for Republicans because the Senate determines the Supreme Court. We all know by now that the Democrats all take the vows to the PC gods and will not budge from the orders given to them from their higher ups, we cannot afford to risk having more liberal Supreme Court judges or Federal judges.

What standing in court do they have? They can still get married in the chapel, they just have to find a right thinking lesbian.
