If Christians ever realized that those New Moons, Sabbaths and Feasts that are in the bible represent, literally, the major life events for the Messiah of Israel, it would expose the Catholic church’s tales of December 25, good Friday and easter as phony..
And Christendom and the world economy can’t chance it with the holy day shopping season...
I created a graveyard of blog excerpters in my front yard.
Our family loves Halloween and we’re Christian. We are a no-blood & no-gore household. We turn our house into an old castle with a drawbridge. And it is the only day of the year where the whole neighborhood comes outside to adore all the little ones and chat with each other. This year is kind of a drag given this is the Friday night lights state of Texas and Halloween is on a Friday.
We make a lot of our own props, and we do have a cemetery. However, all of our epitaphs are funny - like SLEEP died on one of them...after the birth of our firstborn. We have some stones that came from Disney designed after the Haunted Mansion, too.
(After midnight you will be visited by the ghosts of Moldy Vulgar, Suvroc the Insane and Brittany Poundcake.)
