Why not do a sitcom about a similar character inheriting a mosque?

The best thing to do is ignore this. Any protest or objection will simply draw attention to their idiotic television program.

I always said a sitcom making fun of liberals would be great. Then I saw Portlandia and thought it was pretty good!

I think SitCom has a totally different meaning today something more along the lines of situational communism since they all present concepts undermining the values and principles that America was founded upon in an effort to promote moral bankruptcy.

That was my question, also. Sounds like this series was formulated rather stupidly...

Inherits a church? That caught my eye as well. How does one inherit a church?

Look up Joel Osteen and Lakewood Church in Houston.

Allright. Someone tell me how you inherit a church. Sorry, but I just don’t know.

I once worked at a place where a small group organized a prayer group that met in an office before work. Only the invited could attend...and they only invited the "saints."
Of course it was a joke among the uninvited "sinners" (including me) but it was really laughable when they invited the agnostic woman to join.

That caught my eye as well. How does one inherit a church?Hollyweird writers have AMAZINGLY fertile imaginations and will come up with a DOOZY of an explanation.
POSSIBLE scenarios for where the inheritance came from:
1. Nutty grandma
2. Imprisoned formerly-rich bookie priest
3. Pedophile bishop
4. Transgender Pope
5. Wealthy female homosexual couple
6. Closet Nazi convent
7. Mother Theresa's secret children by a Hindu guru from Calcutta
8. Lol. I can't go on. Help.

I agree - let it wither on the vine as Newt Gingrich might say.
Love your moniker, btw. I’m now going to bed.

Amy is incredibly funny, but she hasn’t realized that poking at the faith of at least 50% of her viewers really isn’t a good thing.
This was on Conan. She played Andy’s sister and she was as funny as all get out. This was the reason why she got the SNL gig:

So if the stage is my church, improv is my religion
In that case you are doomed to spend eternity in a bad comedy club where each act is worse than the last.
