I believe that you, like metmom have rejected basically all organized religion and have struck out on your own trying your best to interpret what the bible teaches. You pick and choose which passages they you want to believe and which you consider in error. You accuse a 2,000 year old organization, peopled by some of the most intelligent persons who ever lived to be lacking in their ability to correctly interpret a book that they wrote. It is very easy to be religious if you get to make up your own rules as you go along...no restrictions here, claim Jesus as your savior and you are saved....once saved, always saved...no need to adopt some lifestyle changes, just do as you wish and you are saved because you were "born again"...O.K. I guess, but I think that there is a lot more to it than that...for example, I think that it is a tenet of true Christianity that when Christ said "this is My Body and This My Blood" He meant it and gave that to us as an unsurpassed gift.....but that's just another of those Catholic teachings that you choose to ignore.
Yeah, we've seen what you believe.
>>no need to adopt some lifestyle changes, just do as you wish and you are saved because you were "born again"...<<
Pleas show the post where anyone said that. Surely you aren't just making a spurious comment are you?
Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal.
Now isn't that pretty ignorant??? You write a book for people to read but then you have to interpret to them what it means since they can't understand what you wrote??? Do you guys ever think about the things you are inclined to repeat from your religion???
You didn't get that perverted idea from any Protestant...
You will never get it unless and until you are born again...
Php 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Heb 13:21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
We don't have to decide to change anything at all...God thru Jesus Christ puts the will in our hearts to please him...It's automatic when you become born again...
Rom_4:8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
Do you have any clue at all what this means???
