A Trinity Western University graduate says she was “attacked” over her religion by a Norwegian wilderness tourism company, just for applying for a job.

Bethany Paquette claims her application to work in Canada's North for Amaruk Wilderness Corp. was rejected because she's Christian.

I have emailed the head of HR, leif.vilhjalmsson@amaruk.com suggesting that his company's tolerance amounts to intolerance. I also stated I would never use their services.

Please spread this far and wide. Christians should avoid these Norwegian Taliban like the plague.

What was she "attached" to?

You could ask the admin mod to fix the title for you.

Wow ... quite an article.
Olaf Amundsen, the Amaruk hiring manager who describes himself as 'a Viking with a PhD in Norse culture', seems to revel in homosexuality. I had no idea that the Norse Vikings of lore were a bunch of poofsters.
I'm thinking that the offended sodomite's PhD is a pretty worthless piece of paper.

Although his remarks are vile, and he says much to tick anyone off -- here is hoping that he repents and turns before his time is up on this planet.

Wrong. She said she "felt" attacked.

She didn't get the job.

When you're attacked for following Christ, you won't have to "feel" it; you'll know it. Count on it.

And "blessed are you" when it happens. And do good to your persecutors.

Yeah, well, she might have said that she 'felt attacked over her religion' -- but reading Olaf's responses in the article - she, and Christianity, was attacked. I think the 'felt' part was due to Canadian politeness (those whacky Canucks). Olaf should not be managing anything - except perhaps a San Francisco Sodomite parade.

From the article:

...Amundsen then used an expletive to state that if he met God, he would have sex with him.

No pervert, you would be on your knees, shuddering at God's Power and Glory and a split second later you would meet your eternal damnation...

Then the word “attacked” has lost its meaning, and is of no use except to troll for headline clicks.

Surely we can use language sensibly, can’t we? Or is this story so un-notable that we must resort to sensationalizing it?

Or maybe we need to re-read what Jesus and His apostles said life would be like as disciples. Has religious freedom made us forget and become softies?

I hope she attacked him back with Christian example. Too much time in the woods I suppose.

These two homosexuals are filthy, disgusting degenerates. Imagine what the Iranians would do to these two so-called Vikings.

Boycott the Norwegian gay atheists, yes. But I don’t think conservatives should whine too much if not hired. Employers should be able to hire and fire whoever they want. Or else we get quotas, the inevitable result of anti-discrimination laws. And eventually an affirmative action president.

No one is objecting to that. Heck, it is a blessing that this lady does not have to work for the human scum that are in that company - she should be relieved. My problem is that this 'Viking PhD' buggerer insulted her, insulted Christians, and insulted Christ. Totally unprovoked. He took umbrage over the fact that her school has a policy that their students should be chaste, and he took umbrage over Christianity and that it states that Sodomy is a sin -- and thus he went out of his way to insult her. A simple 'no, we are not going to hire you' would have sufficed.

Sounds like she applied to a gay company not realizing it was a gay company
