Exactly, as per one of Levin's Liberty Amendments.

The 17th Amendment enabled 80 years of judicial assaults.

Levin has teamed up with Randy Barnett and others to relight the Article V movement. His show tonight should be a blast.

Yes, there exists several mechanisms but the only one available now is Article V of the US Constitution.

That’s called “nullification.” Believe me, nullification has a bad track record in our country’s history.

I don’t agree with that proposed amendment. The idea of the legislatures of all the states making a judicial decision!

There has always existed a mechanism to “override” abusive USSC decisions: The Congress can remove certain matters from the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court. By simple majority vote.

Here’s proof of the uselessness of the Republican Party: During all the recent years in which the GOP held the WH and both houses of Congress, they never considered removing abortion from the jurisdiction of the USSC.
