So says the self proclaimed infallible Magisterium which is infallible because they said so.

You demanded an infallible source; I gave you one. Your disagreement that it is infallible is the source of the debate on this forum and so the debate over the Assumption of Mary, is ultimately a debate over whether the Catholic Church is true. To date, I have not seen a reason to believe it is not.

No, you didn't. They only proclaimed themselves infallible with no support from scripture. I can assure you that a group that directly contradicts scripture is not infallible.

Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Now please show your infallible source that shows where the apostles taught the assumption of Mary and the requirement for it's belief.

You have not yet satisfactorily established the infallibility of the Catholic magisterium.

Because they say so is NOT acceptable.

Anyone can claim they are infallible.
